Application would result in all current OTC paracetamol/ phenylephrine products being up-scheduled to S3. Applicant’s justification for changing current combination products from exempt or S2 to S3 is on theoretical basis only, and no evidence provided of clinical risk. Pharmacokinetic study found that co-administration of paracetamol with phenylephrine increased plasma phenylephrine levels – applicant says this has potential for cardiac safety risk in susceptible patients.
As an extra note, there are a few things that should be mentioned about increased prolactin and cortisol levels when using certain peptides. My experience is with even high and frequent doses cortisol was raised but nothing to be alarmed about. Also, some peptides are sensitive to foods interfering with the peptides ability to take effect. Another benefit of CJC 1295 is its ability to promote slow wave sleep. Slow wave sleep is also known as deep sleep and is the portion of sleep responsible for the highest level of muscle growth and memory retention. SWS decreases significantly in older adults and also with people who tend to exercise later in the evening. Clinical studies have shown that a once-daily administration of CJC 1295 normalizes the GHRH response and can induce significantly deeper sleep.
Consistent with these data, our group observed a transient inotropic effect of about 15 minutes in both healthy and infarcted rabbits following a single GHRP-6 intravenous bolus (400 µg/kg). Echocardiography recordings indicated a 15%–20% elevation of the ejection fraction as an increase in shortening fraction (Juan Valiente Mustelier and Jorge Berlanga Acosta, unpublished observations, 2007). More recent studies based on isolated murine hearts that underwent periods of ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) confirm that pre- or posttreatments with hexarelin for instance prevented the intracellular disturbances in Ca+2 transients through recovery of p-PLB after the I/R insult.43 Other studies involving adult Wistar rat ventricular myocytes have confirmed the positive inotropic response induced by hexarelin and other secretagogue peptides that bind the GHS-R1a, which activates protein kinase C signaling cascade.44
A seminal report by a Merck Research Laboratories group dated 2003 demonstrated for the first time that chronic treatment with GHRP-6 (21 days) prevented sudden death in a canine model of DCM and subsequently subjected to acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In the meantime, the mortality rates for the vehicle and GH-treated groups were about 50%. Although the authors do not precise the mechanism underlying the 100% survival in the GHRP-6 group, an enhanced regional myocardial compensatory function of the nonischemic zone was assumed.40 This notion could be validated at least in part by the fact that the cardiotropic effects shown by GHRP-1, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, and hexarelin in cardiomyocytes and isolated, denervated, perfused hearts are mediated by an elevation of Ca2+ influx through the voltage-gated calcium channel, triggering Ca2+ release from thapsigargin-sensitive intracellular stores, which translated in a positive inotropic response without a chronotropic effect.41 More recent data confirm the ability of hexarelin and other secretagogue peptides that bind and activate the GHS-R1a, to control the cardiac action potential and reduce apoptosis of cardiomyocytes, derived from isolated hearts subjected to ischemia/reperfusion episodes.42
It is important to understand that GHRP-6 doses on its own provides considerable HGH release from the pituitary gland, but is nowhere near as effective as the potential HGH release resultant from GHRP-6 combined with a GHRH such as Mod GRF 1-29 (CJC-1295 without DAC). Studies have demonstrated that the combination of GHRP-6 and a GHRH analogue such as Mod GRF 1-29 will generate a 77% increase in HGH output compared to GHRP-6 administration alone[8]. Other studies have gone so far as to explicitly state that GHRP-6 requires GHRH in order to stimulate maximal HGH stimulation as evidenced by the fact that in test subjects, the inclusion of a GHRH can increase HGH output by an additional 81 – 95%[9].

Increase in ghrelin – Ghrelin is a hormone that the stomach releases when it is empty. It also helps regulate appetite, promotes fat loss in muscle tissue, and helps in healing damaged tendons. There are studies which also point to a direct link between elevated levels of ghrelin and faster repair of tendons. GHRP-6 causes an increase of ghrelin in the body.

While GHRP-6 is capable of inducing large increases in GH production when used alone, a given dose will show markedly more effect what a GHRH (growth hormone releasing hormone) peptide is taken at the same time. Alternately, when combining a GHRH with GHRP-6, only about half or a third as much GHRP-6 is needed to obtain the same increase in GH production.
They appear to be safer than anabolic steroids too, but don’t think that means they’re unequivocally safe to take. Research clearly shows that they do suppress natural testosterone production and negatively impact the endocrine system, and there’s evidence to suggest that they may increase the risk of cancer to a far greater degree than any natural supplement ever will.

These studies on human subjects were paralleled by contemporary experimental progresses in basic science, which demonstrated that hexarelin enhanced H9c2 cardiomyocyte proliferation in a dose-dependent manner. Since these were in vitro experiments, they completely excluded a potential intervention of the GH axis and clearly indicated a direct GHRP binding to cardiac cells membranes.32 Weekers et al33 demonstrated that 14 days of pretreatment with GHRP-2, but not GH, selectively protected against the postischemic diastolic dysfunction and myocardial stunning of excised hearts submitted to ischemia/reperfusion in isolated, perfused rabbit hearts.

I have not used IGF-1 but I have used a stack of Ipamorelin and CJC 1295 no DAC. I did not do any lab tests before, during or after but definitely noticed increased fat loss and better sleep. I was not trying to increase muscle so there was no change to speak of for me. But you are not recommending their use even without IGF-1, is that correct? I do not compete in anything so WADA is not a concern.
Essentially a synthetic version of ghrelin analogue, GHRP-6 (like GHRP-2) stimulates the release of an endogenous growth hormone (GH) within the somatotropes of the anterior pituitary in the animal and human body. Specifically, GHRP-6 will increase the number of somatotropes in a GH pulse by limiting the amount of somatostatin present, while standard GHRH increases the amplitude at which the pituitary cells pulse. Unlike ghrelin, GHRP-6 is not specifically used to increase appetite, but it may have secondary actions that impact hypothalamic neurons. These effects last for approximately an hour after the initial application, which mimics the natural application of GH, and consists of an eight hour circulation period.
Scheduling both enobosarm and SARMs would address the potential problem of misuse and abuse. The class entry for SARMs was recommended as there are other SARMs being developed. Thymosin beta 4 (Tβ4) is the predominant form of thymosin in our bodies. It has been found in high concentrations in wound tissue and certain blood cells involved in clotting, signifying its important role in the healing process. In fact, recent studies have revealed that the first gene to be upregulated after an injury is the Tβ4 gene. As the body begins the recovery process, Tβ4 aids in the creation of new vessels in the injured area, which carry blood, nutrients, and reparative substances to the site. Tβ4 also has anti-inflammatory properties, and works to decrease the amount of inflammatory substances, called cytokines. Inflammation plays a large role in many of the symptoms associated with a large number of conditions (i.e., Lyme disease, CFS, FM, autoimmune diseases, infections, etc.), making the potential impact of Tβ4 quite extensive.
Though there are a lot of similarities between the two peptides, there is no denying the fact that they also have vast differences. Besides having differences in the release of growth hormones and stimulation of pituitary glands, GHRP 2 is known to have better control in the release of prolactin and Cortisol. Placebo-treated wounds appeared hypertrophied and proved a firm consistency by day 17 onward. For the three experiments, day 30 following injury established a clear definition on the wounds evolution. The most remarkable effect of GHRP-6 intervention can be ascribed to HTS prevention. As shown in Table 3, GHRP-6 administration aborted the debut of HTS in 90.5% of the treated wounds. These wounds were also negative to palpation. I started taking Ipamorelin and CJC 1295 without DAC yesterday. I dont see many logs and i see a lot of people wondering what kind of results you can get wiith these peptides. I have enough to go a couple of months right now and see what this stuff is really about. Im taking each 3x a day. Morning, pwo, and before bed. Im taking 100mcgs of each in the morning and before bed. After my workout, I'll take 100mcgs of cjc and 100-200mcgs of Ipa.
For increasing GH levels, GHRP-6 is less effective in the presence of high blood glucose levels or high somatostatin levels, which result from high IGF-1 levels. For this reason, for best effect GHRP-6 should be taken while blood sugar is relatively low, for example about 30-60 minutes before a meal. GHRP-6 will have reduced effect if GH is being taken by injection, because GH increases IGF-1. Where GH use is limited to no more than about 14 IU per week, simultaneous GHRP-6 use probably still will increase GH somewhat further, but if GH use is greater than this then likely GHRP-6 injections will do little to nothing towards increasing GH levels any further.
The final verdict is to go for it. GHRP-6 is not your garden-variety performance enhancer. One of the most important aspects of it is that it does not cause desensitization. This means that it will not cause overdose and that works best for athletes. Also since it increases appetite, it forces you to make more calories available to your body for exercise and for recovery. It does not boost unnatural muscle growth like other performance enhancers and the result does not put extra pressure on your tendons and ligaments.
Hexarelin is a peptide that is derived from GHRP 6, but has been optimized to enhance its metabolic stability. Like the other GHSs, hexarelin increases hGH production, resulting in increased muscle mass, bone density, skin elasticity, and decreased body fat. Unlike the other GHRPs, however, hexarelin does not lead to a substantial increase in ghrelin and therefore does not cause the same appetite stimulation. In April and November 1994 and May 1995, the NDPSC decided to amend the scheduling of hydrogen peroxide to include exemptions for hair preparations: 6 per cent or less in the Schedule 5 entry because of the packaging and low exposure potential and 12 per cent or less in the Schedule 6 entry to capture hair dye preparations containing >6 per cent up to 12 per cent in Schedule 5. The NDPSC also decided that the hydrogen peroxide concentration would determine the appropriate warning statements.
Aside from the limitations of this work to fully elucidate the underlying mechanism by which GHRP-6 mediated the refinement of the wounds fibrogenesis in the rats experiment, an important contribution is the unprecedented evidence that the peptide reduced the onset of HTS in the rabbit’s ear model. This represents an extension of the GHRP-6 antifibrotic potential demonstrated years ago by our group in an animal model of liver fibrosis [7]. Nevertheless, and in contrast to the liver fibrosis data, we have no evidence that GHRP-6 is able to revert the consolidated HTS following repeated experimental attempts. Thus, the reproducible findings regarding GHRP-6-mediated HTS prevention are based on the immediate and consecutive administration of the molecule once the injury is induced.
Normal GH secretion, whether spontaneous or evoked by provocative stimuli, is markedly blunted in obese patients who display, as compared to normal weight subjects a reduced: half-life; frequency of secretory episodes; and daily production rate of the hormone. Scacchi, et al found that the combined administration of GHRH and GHRP-6 represented the most powerful GH releasing stimulus among obese patients, which was still less effective than in lean body mass subjects.They concluded that treatment with biosynthetic GH has been shown to improve the body composition, and the metabolic efficacy of lean body mass in obese patients undergoing therapeutic severe caloric restriction. GH and conceivably GHRPs might therefore have a place in the therapy of obesity.11
GHRP’s come in a lypholised dry powder form, usually in vials of 5,000-10,000mcg (5-10mg). To mix, bacteriostatic or sterile water is normally used for reconstitution. Once diluted, peptides lasts quite a long time when left alone in the refrigerator (I would say safely up to 3 months), but some users (myself inculded) load pins with the required total daily dose and freeze them en-batch, ready for defrosting shortly before their shot is due…just to guard against any possible temperature related degradation.

Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion damage entails multiple molecular and biochemical mechanisms that each alone is sufficiently injurious to disturb an organ whose mechanical performance is dependent upon the stability of ionic/electrical pumps. Oxidative stress, intracellular calcium overload, pH changes, mitochondrial dysfunction, inflammation, and excessive neurohormones are part of an interactive and self-perpetuating continuum of the myocardial injury cascade (Figure 1). The evidences obtained along the years of experimental screening of the synthetic GHRP suggest that each single member of this family of peptides is able to simultaneously counteract different injurious operators in the myocardial ischemic event.
