Whether a peptide has some value or not will actually depend on the needs and goals of the bodybuilder. A number if peptides provide benefits that are naturally not found in other traditional medications. When we talk of muscle growth, you need to remember that taking proper bodybuilding peptides are the foundation of having a strong and better body.
Essentially a synthetic version of ghrelin analogue, GHRP-6 (like GHRP-2) stimulates the release of an endogenous growth hormone (GH) within the somatotropes of the anterior pituitary in the animal and human body. Specifically, GHRP-6 will increase the number of somatotropes in a GH pulse by limiting the amount of somatostatin present, while standard GHRH increases the amplitude at which the pituitary cells pulse. Unlike ghrelin, GHRP-6 is not specifically used to increase appetite, but it may have secondary actions that impact hypothalamic neurons. These effects last for approximately an hour after the initial application, which mimics the natural application of GH, and consists of an eight hour circulation period.

Results in Fig. 1.8 of normal young men (left panel) and women (right panel) demonstrate that iv bolus combined GHRP-2 and GHRH at the respective doses of 1 μg/kg GHRH and a subthreshold GH-releasing dose of 0.03 μg/kg GHRP-2 released GH synergistically (Bowers, 1998). From these studies, GHRP is envisioned to act on the hypothalamus to release an unknown factor (U factor) rather than endogenous GHRH which subsequently acts concomitantly with GHRH on the pituitary somatotroph to release GH synergistically. In this study, the important specific finding is that GHRP-2 augments GHRH release even when GHRH is present in excess amounts, and the concomitant GHRP-2 dose of 0.03 μg/kg is a subthreshold GH-releasing amount. Thus, GHRP + GHRH is not releasing GH in this study by augmenting endogenous GHRH release and, furthermore, GHRP+GHRH release in vitro is additive and not synergistic. In addition, from other high-dosage GHRP-2 data, that is, 10 μg/kg sc (not shown), we have postulated that at high doses GHRPs do act on the hypothalamus to release endogenous GHRH because high-dose GHRP-2 (10 μg/kg sc) releases the same large amount of GH released by combined GHRH + GHRP-2 at 1 + 1 μg/kg iv (Bowers, 1998a,b).
Peptides: Are a small chain of amino acids that isn’t quite long enough to be considered a protein. In other words they are the building blocks for protein in the body. They actually have a wide range of functions with the most popular being an increase in growth hormone, increase in recovery (and by default muscle building) and even a natural tan.

The scheduling of paracetamol and caffeine when combined in a compound analgesic as the only active ingredients was again reviewed by the NDPSC at its 57th Meeting in October 2009 after the Committee had received a request to reconsider the scheduling on the grounds of potential toxicity if used in excess. This issue had been extensively reviewed at the June 2007 meeting and it was decided that Schedule 2 remained appropriate.
Normal GH secretion, whether spontaneous or evoked by provocative stimuli, is markedly blunted in obese patients who display, as compared to normal weight subjects a reduced: half-life; frequency of secretory episodes; and daily production rate of the hormone. Scacchi, et al found that the combined administration of GHRH and GHRP-6 represented the most powerful GH releasing stimulus among obese patients, which was still less effective than in lean body mass subjects.They concluded that treatment with biosynthetic GH has been shown to improve the body composition, and the metabolic efficacy of lean body mass in obese patients undergoing therapeutic severe caloric restriction. GH and conceivably GHRPs might therefore have a place in the therapy of obesity.11
In 2005, we undertook a porcine model of AMI via left circumflex artery occlusion for 1 hour followed by a 72-hour reperfusion period. GHRP-6 rescued ischemic myocardium from death for over 70% of the area at risk (Figure 3), and that in addition to enhance survival signaling pathways/gene expression of the PI-3K, AKT1, and BCL2 pathways, GHRP-6 decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) spillover, the inflammatory marker CRP, and preserved the antioxidant defenses.45 These antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties have also been attributed to GHRP-2 when its antiatherogenic potential was examined in ApoE(−/−) mice so that 12/15-lipoxygenase, interferon gamma, and macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MMF) gene expression were accounted. Furthermore, in cultured aortic smooth muscle cells, GHRP-2 prevented the generation of peroxides, the downregulation of IGF-1 receptor, and the commitment of apoptosis.46
It is important to understand that GHRP-6 doses on its own provides considerable HGH release from the pituitary gland, but is nowhere near as effective as the potential HGH release resultant from GHRP-6 combined with a GHRH such as Mod GRF 1-29 (CJC-1295 without DAC). Studies have demonstrated that the combination of GHRP-6 and a GHRH analogue such as Mod GRF 1-29 will generate a 77% increase in HGH output compared to GHRP-6 administration alone[8]. Other studies have gone so far as to explicitly state that GHRP-6 requires GHRH in order to stimulate maximal HGH stimulation as evidenced by the fact that in test subjects, the inclusion of a GHRH can increase HGH output by an additional 81 – 95%[9].

Perhaps, the primary reason why peptides are used in bodybuilding has to do with how they improve growth hormone production. It is no longer a secret how HGH helps to improve lean muscle mass. Your body uses peptides to promote increased secretion of HGH. They, therefore, make it easier for interested persons to achieve bigger muscle mass. Their usage may help enhance strength. It is even said that these small amino acid chains could boost testosterone production.

TGA evaluator concluded that the consistent absence of any clinically meaningful effects on blood pressure (BP) or heart rate (HR) in the applicant's bioavailability studies, and the absence of any ADR reports of BP, HR or other cardiovascular problems, indicate that "there is no valid reason for concern and no need to take any regulatory against the combination products currently in the ARTG and available in the Australian market", i.e. no demonstrated safety risk, and no evidence provided of efficacy of paracetamol 1000 mg / phenylephrine HCl 5 mg adult dose.


The medicines delegate referred the proposal to upschedule paracetamol/ibuprofen from Schedule 2 to Schedule 3 to the Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling (ACMS) in early 2011. The proposal was submitted by the Advisory Committee on Non-Prescription Medicines (ACNM) as they were currently assessing a product in which the sponsor did not satisfactorily establish the efficacy and safety of the product and that public health concerns raised during the assessment of the product could be addressed by access to a pharmacist. AFT Pharmaceuticals had submitted a product application with the TGA at the time of this item being considered by the delegate and ACMS.

Prolactin, or estrogen gynecomastia issues: Those that are sensitive to prolactin based gynecomastia are open to problems with GHRP-6. Luckily, this is a rare occurrence, and it can be easily combated with dostinex. However, those who stack this compound with anabolic androgenic steroids may have a greater chance of getting gynecomastia. Thats why an AI (aromatase inhibitor) should be used during this kind of cycles.


I'm new to the forum and there is some great information here that I need to do more reading on. I've been taking Ipam and ModGrf 1-29 for at least 2yrs now. The first thing I noticed is that I have good quality sleep. I have difficulty sleeping and staying asleep. I take these peps 20min before I go to bed and get a good deep sleep for at least most of the night. I take them before doing my morning cardio, after my workout (afternoon) and before I go to bed. I've read if you take it before your morning cardio it releases more FFA to burn during your session. After the workout to aid in recovery. Before bed to aid in a deeper sleep. It is important when you take them. Dont eat before morning cardio...no carbs/sugary drinks...3hrs should have passed before taking another shot and do not eat before 15-20min after taking the peps. The reason (I've read) to wait these times is to take them while your insulin levels are low. High Insulin levels will minimize the pulsation of the GH. The phrase I've read is to try to keep "insulin quiet" to maximize the pulse of GH. Ipam can work by itself but if taken with ModGrf 1-29 it will magnify the GH Pulse. ModGrf is useless by itself. I've read that there is a saturation dose, so more is not better. 200mcg for each should do the job. Since synthetic GH shuts down natural production, these peps stimulate the pituitary to pulse more natural GH. To get the maximum effect of syn GH, you would also take the shot at the same time discussed above. Once again, this is what I've read and the protocol that I've followed. The results arent like AAS (nothing is!) but it is a good way to feel better since I cant take TRT. (trying to have kids) I also travel with the peps bc I value the sleep that I get from it.
It has been previously explained that some individuals will elect to administer GHRP-6 doses twice daily, and some more than three times daily. Twice daily administration of at least 100mcg (typically upon awaking and before sleeping) will yield anti-aging and general health benefits. 3 times daily administration should yield general health benefits, fat loss, and muscle gain. 4 times daily or greater administration should provide more pronounced muscle gains and fat loss.
The two peptides CJC 1295 Ipamorelin, are often used in conjunction for better results. Known individually as CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin, these peptides have similar roles, which we will look at later. But for now, the CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin combination, is chiefly used together because the production of growth hormone secretion is 10 times more effective than using them individually. This makes it convenient for most users, to guarantee quicker results. Above all, it is popular among athletes, bodybuilders and weightlifters in need of building strength or speeding up the recovery of an injury.

Results and expectations from an HGH secretagogue such as GHRP-6 should be all of the same effects that any other form of Human Growth Hormone would provide. This includes fat loss, muscle mass increases, strength gains, healing and repair of joints and connective tissue, and a plethora of other benefits and changes. An important note to make is that the effects from any HGH application, whether it be an endogenous release from a GHRH or synthetic HGH administration, will all occur rather steadily over a longer period of use. Dramatic results within weeks are never to be expected, but with proper nutrition and training, dramatic performance and physique changes should occur steadily over the course of several months of application. GHRPs are not simply surrogates of GHRH, instead GHRP-6 is an artificial activator of a separate newly discovered receptor called Growth Hormone Secretagogue Receptor (GHS-R). Soon Ghrelin was discovered, the endogenous ligand that binds to the GHS-R. Both Ghrelin and all the synthetic compounds such as GHRP-6 were termed "Growth Hormone Secretagogues" (GHSs). One side effect of GHRP-6 is a significant increase in appetite due to stimulating the release of Ghrelin, a peptide that is released naturally in the lining of the stomach that increases hunger and gastric emptying. Also, GHRP-6 causes stimulation of the anterior pituitary gland which causes an increase in Growth Hormone release. The increased amounts of Growth Hormone can cause the liver to secrete the hormone IGF-1, which improves the animal body’s ability to burn fat and build muscle. Since GHRP-6 acts directly on the feedback loop which signals the inhibition of Growth Hormone release, GHRP-6 can re-stimulate the production of Growth Hormone.

by Bill Roberts – GHRP-6 is an injectable peptide in the category of growth hormone releasing peptides, or GHRP’s. The most common use of these peptides is to increase GH production. Other peptides in this category include GHRP-2, hexarelin, and ipamorelin. With regard to increasing GH, all of these work similarly, and there is no need or advantage to combining them. Instead, the one most suited for the particular case is chosen.
Athletes will greatly benefit from using Ipamorelin. For example, if you use CJC 1295 along with Ipamorelin, the results are going to be even greater. HGH increase will result in greater muscle mass levels, less time for muscle mass to develop, and increased levels of lean muscle tissue. The more peptides your body produces, the greater your lean muscle mass is going to be. And, over time, with gradual increases in HGH, you are going to realize a leaner, more muscular definition to your body.
Ghrelin has been linked to inducing appetite and feeding behaviors. Circulating ghrelin levels are the highest right before a meal and the lowest right after. Injections of ghrelin in both humans and rats have been shown to increase food intake in a dose dependent manner. So the more ghrelin that is injected the more food that is consumed. However, ghrelin does not increase meal size, only meal number. Ghrelin injections also increase an animals’ motivation to seek out food, behaviors including increased sniffing, foraging for food, and hoarding food. Ghrelin also readies the body for the incoming nutrients by stimulating gastrointestinal motility and gastric acid secretions.
GHRP-6 directly stimulates the anterior pituitary gland which subsequently leads to an increase in the release of growth hormones in the body. As GHRP-6 directly affects the feedback loop which triggers changes in inhibition of the release of Growth Hormones, it can be used to restore the natural manufacturing of the Growth Hormone if natural secretion has been impaired because of long term artificial use. GHRP-6 also reportedly has an impact on our nervous system. They are potentially capable of protecting neurons and increasing the strength of a person. The functioning of GHRP-6 is strikingly similar to the working of several steroids in the DHT family. 
GHRP’s have been used whilst steroid cycling, but due to their nature and comparative weakness to steroids and the like, I find the best use of these compounds is during and after post cycle therapy in an attempt to keep as much of the steroid-induced gains as possible as well as helping the users mind-set as they still feel like they are ‘on’ something…sad but true. GHRP’s are also cycled in an alternate fashion with GH (and IGF), so as to keep the body’s natural GH production systems from de-sensitizing and shutting down completely…much in the same way that steroid users alternate HCG with steroids; to keep the natural testosterone system functioning optimally.
Remember the GHRP you select is used for a few reasons. One is to prompt the release of the increase pulse in GH you have initiated with the GHRH you have selected to use. This is by inhibition of Somatostatin. So you are actually selecting the timing of the release of your natural production of  still physiologic amount of GH.  Another reason is to actually contribute a little more to the amplitude of you GH pulse.
GHRP was first envisioned to be an analog of GHRH but, from comparison of the activity of GHRH and GHRPs between 1982 and1984, it was hypothesized to reflect the activity of a new hormone regulator of GH secretion, yet to be isolated and identified. Intravenous bolus GHRP releases more GH than GHRH in humans, but the reverse occurs in vitro. GHRPs are pleiotropic peptides with major effects on GH, nutrition, and metabolism, especially as an additional hormone in combination with GHRH as a new regulator of pulsatile GH secretion. The first indication of pleiotropism was an increase of food intake by GHRP. A major reason for the prolonged initial interest in the GHRPs has been its similar, yet different and complementary, action with GHRH on GH regulation and secretion.
Ghrelin has many activities in the body besides stimulating GH release. It stimulates appetite, is cardioprotective, can help protect cells against oxidative damage, can reduce inflammation and promote healing, and can promote fat-burning in muscle. There is also some effect on increase in cortisol production via increase in ACTH, and increase in prolactin. However, where the activity of ghrelin is comparable to that which ordinarily occurs during fasting, effects on cortisol and prolactin likewise are comparably only to that experienced while fasting.

Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6 or GHRP-6 is basically a hgH secretagoue, which has the potential to facilitate the effective increase the levels of natural secretion of hgH in our body. The delegates have decided to accept the advice of the expert advisory committees that the current scheduling of preparations in Schedules 5 and 6 remains appropriate. The delegates noted the decision to retain listing of teeth whitening preparations containing up to 6 per cent hydrogen peroxide or 18 per cent carbamide peroxide in Schedule 5, or exempt when below 3 per cent and 9 per cent respectively, is to some extent also consistent with the evaluation of such products by the European Commission Scientific Committee on Cosmetics and Non Food Products intended for Consumers (SCCNFP).
This peptide is a modified fragment of hGH which contains the portion of the molecule that is believed to be responsible for hGH’s anti-obesity effects. The peptide has been shown to increase fat burning without the increase in blood sugar and growth rate that has been seen with hGH itself. AOD 9604 has been deemed safe for chronic use by the FDA, receiving Human GRAS status in 2014. Scheduling both enobosarm and SARMs would address the potential problem of misuse and abuse. The class entry for SARMs was recommended as there are other SARMs being developed. Patients being treated with these drugs would require medical diagnosis, monitoring and management. There is access to SARMs that are more toxic than enobosarm. If only one SARM was scheduled, consumers would be able to source another SARM.

CJC1295 is a 30 amino acid peptide, which primarily functions as a growth hormone releasing hormone analogue (mimicing the effect of GHRH).  It was initially invented to treat deep fat deposits in people, because it is known that having an increase in our own growth hormone levels will target this.It stimulates production of our own growth hormone from the pituitary gland.

GH secretagogues differ from exogenous rHGH in their effects primarily because endogenous GH contains all five isoforms of growth hormone, whereas exogenous GH contains only the 20 kilodalton isoform. Different isoforms affect tissues in discreet ways that the 20 kDa isoform cannot. Administration of GH secretagogues causes a pulse-release of GH from the pituitary which is cleared from the body within a few hours. This does not significantly raise plasma insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) levels.[citation needed]
