GHRP-6 stands for growth hormone releasing hexapeptide, so it is obviously a peptide hormone. As you can probably guess, it acts in the same manner as all peptides do in the Growth Hormone (GH) class – it increases the amount of GH our bodies produce. This is a very beneficial property, as growth hormone is the fountain of youth, and serves many purposes from fat loss, to muscle gain and anti-aging effects. For this reason many athletes have turned to GHRP-6 in order to get an athletic edge.
Figure 3.2 shows changes in intracellular calcium concentrations in several GHS-R-expressing cell lines as detected by fluorometric imaging plate reader (FLIPR)-based assays. Isolated GHS-R-expressing cell lines were activated by GHRP-6, an artificial ligand to GHS-R. The calcium changes varied in each cell line in relation to the expression levels of GHS-R mRNA.
I have questions about combined therapy of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin at the same time on a daily basis for both. The compounding pharmacies do not clearly state whether the CJC is with or without DAC. If it is the CJC with DAC, which sustains elevated GH and IGF-1 for several days, would taking it nightly in conjunction with the Ipramorelin, that is suggested to be taken TID but is being recommended only once at night, be over-stimulatory? If the CJC is without DAC, why take two pepetides simultaneously ,that have similar effects? I am just not clear why taking a daily dose of CJC with Ipamorelin as a single dose is better than taking the CJC with DAC twice per week alone or take the CJC with DAC for a while then switch to the Ipamorelin for a while?
IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor) and MGF (Mechano-growth factor) are the peptides that help with insulin-like growth of muscles. In the case of mechano growth factor, it helps stimulate the recovery of damaged muscle tissue and activate satellite cells to produce more muscle tissue. MGF should only be dosed post workout and even on recovery days to utilize the full muscle building effects.
In rat stomach, a second type of ghrelin peptide has been purified and identified as des-Gln14-ghrelin (). Except for the deletion of Gln14, des-Gln14-ghrelin is identical to ghrelin, even retaining the n-octanoic acid modification. Des-Gln14-ghrelin has the same potency of activities with that of ghrelin. The deletion of Gln14 in des-Gln14-ghrelin arises due to the usage of a CAG codon to encode Gin, which results in its recognition as a splicing signal. Thus, two types of active ghrelin peptide are produced in rat stomach: ghrelin and des-Gln14-ghrelin. However, des-Gln14-ghrelin is only present in low amounts in the stomach, indicating that ghrelin is the major active form. In addition, n-decenoyl (C10:l)-modified ghrelin exists in the stomach in small amounts.
Cancer can often be a process of uncontrolled cellular division. IGF-1 is not only pro-growth in a way that could increase this cellular division, but IGF-1 also inhibits apoptosis, or programmed cell death. Hence the theory among some in the medical community that tumors could increase synthesis of IGF-1 to keep themselves alive and to encourage the spread of cancer throughout the body. This doesn’t mean that IGF-1 directly causes cancer.
Whether it is GHRP 2 or GHRP 6, it is better to get in touch with your physician before you get on with the consumptions of these peptides. In any case, when you are following an exercise regimen of extreme type coupled with special supplements and diets, a complete assessment done by a competent physician is highly recommended. Both the peptides – GHRP 2 and GHRP 6 have their own set of advantages and disadvantages, similarities and differences. It all boils down to individual choices and requirements when it comes to choosing between them.
For increasing GH levels, GHRP-6 is less effective in the presence of high blood glucose levels or high somatostatin levels, which result from high IGF-1 levels. For this reason, for best effect GHRP-6 should be taken while blood sugar is relatively low, for example about 30-60 minutes before a meal. GHRP-6 will have reduced effect if GH is being taken by injection, because GH increases IGF-1. Where GH use is limited to no more than about 14 IU per week, simultaneous GHRP-6 use probably still will increase GH somewhat further, but if GH use is greater than this then likely GHRP-6 injections will do little to nothing towards increasing GH levels any further.
The qualitative microscopic analysis of the GHRP-6 responsive wounds indicated that the peptide seems to primarily reduce both local hypercellularity associated with the cartilage perichondrium cells and the resulting ECM accumulation (Figures 6(a) and 6(b)). Accordingly, their SEI () appeared largely different () as compared to the placebo samples group (). It is notorious, however, that those GHRP-6 nonresponsive wounds () that evolved to HTS exhibited similar microscopic appearance (not shown) and SEI values as compared to placebo control wounds (Table 3).
As an extra note, there are a few things that should be mentioned about increased prolactin and cortisol levels when using certain peptides. My experience is with even high and frequent doses cortisol was raised but nothing to be alarmed about. Also, some peptides are sensitive to foods interfering with the peptides ability to take effect. Therefore, a safe rule of thumb is to not eat 30 minutes before and after dosing to make sure that no foods are facilitating the breakdown of these peptide chains upon subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
When you are just getting started with Ipamorelin, it is advised to use only one supplement daily at the same time each day. It is also advised to begin on the lower end, typically an eight-week cycle, and at a maximum twelve-week cycle. I have enough to go a couple of months right now and see what this stuff is really about. Im taking each 3x a day. Morning, pwo, and before bed. Im taking 100mcgs of each in the morning and before bed. After my workout, I'll take 100mcgs of cjc and 100-200mcgs of Ipa.
